Usage
The second is a MultiTimeFrame Window which provides for the same period charting of two time frames, here 5min (Blue) and 30min(Red)
The same chart has CCI indicator for 5 mins as well as 30 mins
Here is a chart below where two CCI windows are used. The first or above CCI window in the chart is of 5min Time Frame with Period 8. The below CCI window is a Multi Time CCI window with CCI plotted of one Period 34 and two Time Frames of 5min and 30min.
In NimblrTA we primarily use:
- First Window for CCI 8 5min
- Second Window Multi TF CCI 34 30min (Red) and CCI 34 5min i.e. Dual Time Frames.
The First Window of CCI 8 5min is used for timing Entry and Exits.
If CCI 8 is lesser than -135 we Enter Buy Trades.
If CCI 8 is greater than +135 we Enter Sell Trades.
The Second Window with CCI 34 30min (Red) is used to ascertain Direction of Trade.
If CCI 34 30min (Red) is greater than +100, the trade must be a Buy Trade.
If CCI 34 30min (Red) is lesser than -100, the trade must be a Sell Trade.
